Company Attends 2008 LCFA Convention

On Saturday June 7th members from all 3 MTFR Companies attended the LCFA Convention in Strasburg.  The township came back with a total of 11 trophies:

1^st Place - Most Functional Rescue Engine – Rescue 211

1^st Place – Most Functional Tanker / Pumper – Tanker 27

 1^st Place – Most Functional Fire Chief Command Unit – Command 27

1^st Place - Most Functional Aerial Ladder Truck – Truck 24

2^nd Place - Best Appearing Antique (Department Owned) – Neffsville 1936   Reo / Seagrave

2^nd Place - Most Functional Fire Police Traffic Unit – Traffic 27

2^nd Place - Most Functional Fire Chief Command Unit – Command 24

3^rd Place - Most Functional Engine 1250 GPM or Higher – Engine 271

4^th Place - Most Functional Engine 1250 GPM or Higher – Engine 241

Special Judges Award – Manheim Township Fire Rescue

2^nd Place – Best Appearing Antique (Privately Owned) – Mom & Dads (Laverne Stauffer)
