Shortly before 0900 hrs Rescue 2-11 was dispatched to Rt 30 westbound at Rt 741 along with E6-7-1 and R2-3 for a reported vehicle accident with possible entrapment. PD arrived on scene and confirmed two people trapped inside. R2-11 was first arriving unit and went in service with the Holmatro rescue tools and also pulled a hand line for fire suppression. Crews quickly extricated the driver with a door pop, and began extrication of the passenger who was more heavily entrapped and in critical condition. Crews from R2-3 and E6-7-1 assisted R2-11 with removing the roof and patient packaging and removal. Both Patients were extricated in under 19 minutes.
