Engine 2-11-3 was alerted to 1967 Linden St in East Petersburg for a reported garage fire. Deputy 2-3 (Schoenberger) arrived on location with heavy smoke showing from a two story garage with an apartment on the second floor. Engine 2-11-3 was the first arriving engine and laid in from the hydrant and began an interior attack. Crews found heavy fire on the first and second floors. Crews put a knock on the first floor but were pulled out by command due to changing exterior conditions. Crews backed out and switched to a defensive operations. Engine 2-11-3 along with other MTFR units operated on scene for about two hours then cleared.
